Day 3 of our Advent Calendar and it comes very sweet for your mouth 😛
I present you the typical Catalan sweets we have as dessert during Christmas time:

Torrons
In the photo are the cut pieces of different colours. They are sweets of different flavours and each is made with various ingredients. The one from Catalonia is Torró d’Agramunt (Agramunt is a village in the comarca of Urgell), it is made with hazelnuts or almonds, honey, sugar and egg whites. If you click here you can see images of the elaboration process.
Neules
These are the thin waffle-like sticks in the red platter. They can be plain or with chocolate and are made with egg whites, butter, sugar and flour.
We love to dip them on our glass of cava (sparkling wine) and sip!
Have you tried any of them? 🙂
